I know plenty of people who like "Chai." In they go to their favorite coffee house and they say "I'd like a chai tea latte with soy milk and no cream please..." Little do they know, they're not getting real chai!
I stumbled upon Design-A-Tea while doing research on the possibility of experimenting with making my own tea blends. Their premise is pretty simple, pick a base tea - your options are Green, Black, Oolong or Rooibos, an added flavor or two... and you have your own tea!
If there's one thing everyone needs if they're going to brew tea, it's a way to heat the water. While one could certainly use a fire to heat a traditional teapot, it's not always a viable option. A cubicle comes to mind as a bad place for a traditional teapot. What it is though is a great place for an Electric Kettle by Hamilton Beach!
Stash's Orange Spice black tea caught my eye for more than just having a brightly colored box. The hope of a well balanced 'spiced' tea available in the grocery was an exciting thought. So, I picked it up.
Himalayan Orange is probably one of the lightest tisane I've come across but remains a solid flavor which the palette seems to try and enunciate every accent of! I often find myself drinking this tisane for the better part of the day if I've started it in the morning.
