Yellow Tea is very rare. Manufactured only in China as the processes to make it are kept very close to the vest. Even in China, yellow tea has a high level of prize and mystique. I found some from Harney & Sons, and wasn't disappointed!

Visually, the leaves seem to be medium length, curled and with a light brown and light green hue set. A wonderful mix allowing me to size up this tea before I begin to drink it.
The liquor (color) of this brewed tea is a very nice yellow-orange. I would describe it as slightly lighter than cantaloupe, without it being so bold and bright.
The Yellow Buds tea has a very slight tail which after a few moments begins to seem lightly creamy, coating the mouth but taking its time. Without a bite in the tail, this tea doesn't have much oomph, but seems very nice as a late night relaxer for those of us who may prefer a natural herbal flavor without added fluff.
