Jason, you are correct. There is no alcohol in this tea. It does however both smell and taste very similar to a Mojito. I would say the aroma is almost dead-on!

I guess the reason I'm commenting here is out of curiosity about this blend and others like it. It's called Mojito but as I understand there's not going to be any actual alcohol in it, right? Is it just a flavored tea that's made to taste like the strong drinks, like a mocktail?

Thanks for the kudos, Chris. I would only add that while we are sold out of this particular blend (for the moment), we do have other great blends. The thing about creating something new every week is that either we are going to end up with a huge inventory, or we are going to sell out.

I prefer to sell out and create something new and even more fantastic every week. That said, we are not above reblending some of the blends that people really enjoyed. I'm currently working on adding a "Hall of Fame" section to the website which will feature some of the best of the best--the shamrock green tea, coconut cream pie black tea, pina colada honeybush, vanilla date black tea with coconut, maybe the mayan chocolate chai...

Anyway, if your readers want us to reblend the Champagne Mojito, I would encourage them to comment on that post and ask us to reblend it. You never know what we're going to do next. The post is here-- http://www.52teas.com/2009/04/04/040509-melusians-champagne-mojito-flavored-green-tea/ if anyone wants to comment it.

Thanks Again,

Frank
