Today’s cup is White Orchard from Mighty Leaf Tea.
This Sri Lankan Green Tea (Sri Lanka used to be called Ceylon) is light, not grassy or vegetal. Sadly it’s a bit nondescript. Somewhere between a Dragonwell (Lung Ching) and a Kukicha to be honest. I’m not really sure what to think about it.

Contrasting to this morning’s first tea review is this Chinese green tea. These Organic Emerald Pearls from Mighty Leaf hold a wonderfully light flavor with all the hidden subtleties inherent in Chinese green teas.

Friday is Black Tea, Floral Tea, Fruit Tea, Chai and Pu’erh Review Day!
This pretty coconut rooibos chai blend from Mighty Leaf Tea is a splendid example of a tea which comes close, but misses the ball. Aromatic and spicy Coco Chai Rooibos still comes out just a bit too weak.

Wednesday is Green Tea, White Tea, Rooibos, Oolong and Tisane (Herbal) Review Day!
I’m drawn to mangoes much as one would expect a fruit fly to be. The sweet, smooth flavor is not too bold, and not too weak. This decaffeinated mango green tea from Mighty Leaf turned out much the same.
