Morning Cup #56 - Sweet Addiction Fruit Tea

Morning Cup Logo

I find this Sweet Addiction Fruit Tea from FullyLoadedTea in my cup this morning!

This tea is quite a contrast to the one I had Wednesday Morning.

The aroma is light with hints of a sour sweetness. Te weight on the palate is heavier than expected though, with some twinge in the tail. The flavor is slightly fruity but with a great deal of complexity.

Morning Cup #55 - Decaf Breakfast Tea

Morning Cup Logo

A little on the groggy side this morning I dove straight for this Breakfast Tea from Taylors of Harrogate. So groggy, I failed to notice it was decaf!

Thankfully this tea is brisk enough to wake me up by force without the caffeine.

The aroma is nice, light and malty. I sensed some hint of a honeyed touch. The flavor is malty, strong and brisk. Could use a lump of sugar and a dollop of milk if you're into that sorta thing.

Morning Cup #54 - Organic Green Jasmine

My mug decided on a nice lightly floral Organic Green Jasmine from Hampstead Tea this morning.

This black tea blend has a wonderfully matched black tea with what taste like orange with a hint of pineapple. The aroma contains mostly orange and lemon scents. I think the black tea is a Ceylon, but I have no confirmation of that. Either way, give this one a try.

Morning Cup #52 - Magnolia Pu'erh

Morning Cup Logo

Over the past year I've found myself really growing a side passion in Pu'erh teas such as this Magnolia Pu'erh from Numi Tea.

This Pu'erh is dark and earthy like others, but with a decidedly floral overtone with what I think are honeysuckle undertones. I'm pretty impressed with the flavor quality from a bagged tea, let alone a bagged Pu'erh.

This brew caught me off guard. Perhaps it will do the same for you!.
