Morning Cup #20 – Sandman PM

MorningCup Morning Cup #20 Sandman PM

Today’s cup is an herbal from Stash Tea called Sandman PM.

Until recently I haven’t  normally been drinking an herbal tea first thing in the morning. I often need more of a pick-me-up. However, this Sandman PM has been eying me for a while. At least I sure feel like I could use a visit from the sandman today.

The brew is rather light. The most dominant aroma and flavor is chamomile. The liquor is a pleasant golden color.

Destination: Essencha Re-Review

Essencha was the first tea house I reviewed when I first started this blog back in 2009. Partly this is due to proximity, Essencha is 30 minutes from my front door. Partly it’s because I respect what Tracy was trying to do with her shop.

Tracy’s story is a tough one. While going through a particularly difficult period in her life, Tea brought her comfort, focus and solidarity. It was something she could pour her heart into, and something she fell headfirst in love with.

Organic Fairtrade Makaibari Darjeeling (Hampstead Tea)

Darjeeling teas are often referred to as the champagne of teas, with good reason. Darjeelings typically express the depth and nuance tea connoisseurs look for from the best of any tea, be they black, green, white or herbal. The Makaibari region within Darjeeling region also tends to produce some of the best Darjeelings season after season. Let’s check this one out from Hampstead Tea of London.

Topsy Turvy Tea Blend (Disney)

When I went to Disney World the last thing I was thinking of was tea. But lo-and-behold, there it was! Staring me in the face at the Epcot gift store I was in! Of the two teas I saw that were loose leaf, I bought both! My first review is of this Topsy Turvy Tea Blend.
